I decided to pay for my Invisalign as a young adult, and had no prior experience with orthodontists. I went to 5 different places before driving from Iowa City all the way out to Mount Pleasant to Dr. Vela's practice, where I was greeted with kindness and understanding. She worked with my bank to help me make a monthly payment plan that I could afford. Not only that, but she has brought me my aligners to Iowa City when she was visiting so that I didn't have to make the drive up. I cannot express enough how thoughtful and kind she and her staff are. I just went in for my final appointment, where Dr. Vela worked directly with me - as she always does - she officially has given me the confidence I have yearned for since I was a kid.
